V2 Cigs Fan of the Week: Pat's Story
Date Posted: February 29, 2012
I am 63 years old and have smoked cigarettes since I was 13. I have tried many times to quit smoking, but it would only last for a short while. I would get so easily irritated I would blow up at the least little thing. My husband would finally tell me to please go buy cigarettes and give us both some relief!
My grandchildren have been begging me to quit smoking since they were old enough to talk. They used to tell me they didn’t want me to die. They were afraid I wouldn’t live to see them grow up. The last time I tried to quit I didn’t last long and I pretended for at least 6 months that I wasn’t smoking anymore.
I would sneak out behind the storage building and smoke and then run in and brush my teeth and spray myself with cologne. It was getting harder all the time to pretend because when the family would get together for Sunday dinner I would have the hardest time waiting until we went home to have a cigarette. My husband would drive home with me hanging out the window smoking so I wouldn’t stink up the car.
In October of 2011 my dear friend bought me the v2 standard kit for my 63rd. birthday. Not only have I not smoked another cigarette since that day but I haven’t even craved one! I feel so much better than I have in a long time and definately smell better! I don’t have to go out in the cold to smoke or spray myself with cologne a thousand times a day, which is something I have always done so as not to offend anyone.
Thank you v2cigs! You have totally changed my life! I truly am your biggest fan!!!
