It’s our nation’s birthday! What are you doing to celebrate? The fourth of July is the perfect time to kick back and spend time with your family and loved-ones. Everyone loves a parade! The Hillsboro Rotary Club has been putting on their annual 4th of July parade for decades and it’s a can’t-miss event. People of all ages will cheer as this enormous procession makes its way through the streets of Portland. The Hillsboro Rotary Club has been sponsoring this impressive spectacle since 1926 and it’s become as much a part of history as the holiday, itself. You can’t help but get into the Independence Day spirit with this delightful display of red, white and blue!

#1 Boston Pops Firework Spectacular, the Esplanade, and Boston, MA

Sponsored by Liberty Mutual, the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular was voted by AOL as one of the best fireworks presentations in the country. This year’s top performers include American Idol alum and “Dreamgirls” actress, Jennifer Hudson and the cast of the monster-hit Broadway show, Mamma Mia! Thousands of pounds of fireworks are purchased in preparation for this annual event and they light up the sky for nearly half-an-hour. The celebration is set to begin at sundown, but people are encouraged to come early as seats go quickly. If you’re in the Boston area, this fantastic display is a must-see!
