Awesome case. It holds standard size battery or shorty with standard cartridge in place. The XL battery it holds but WITHOUT cartridge in place. This case charges all v2 batteries excellent. Make sure when toting the extra battery you have a stay fresh cartridge condom on battery with or without cartridge on, or it will rattle around nicking the paint. Press ecig DOWN firmly and the case opens and shuts GREAT!!! This case when fully charged works for 2 days at minimum for me without need of any power supply or worry. Camping, outdoors of any sort, definitely power on the go!!!! Lifetime warranty, you have nothing to lose but all to gain

Pros:
*Classy.
*Fits in a jacket pocket.
Cons:
*Cigs rattle around. They're just a little too snug when you mitigate this with a condom.
*Would be nice if you could test a partially charged cig. It only shows status while charging.
*I'd be a little more comfortable with standard battery that I could replace myself--but I think the warranty will make up for it.
This case and 2 cigs kept me happily vaping in the car from from the east coast to the midwest...with blizzard traffic. I haven't researched the technical specs on the cigs, but I recommend having a method for avoiding double-charging them. I use the batteries on a rotation (steel, black, blue) and stick to it. When a store a cig in the case, one direction means charged, the other means spent.

Seems to charge faster than the regular corded charger, & of course, being fully portable assures you that you never have to worry about finding either an outlet or a computer.
The one thing I'd like to see however, is the charging cord in a self store configuration like the original PCC. Also, if the port HAS to be exposed externally, ther should be a plug for it to prevent dust or particles from getting in.

This recharging case is a must-have item!
In my earlier vaping days, I found myself all too often with one battery dying out, and the backup(s) in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tobacco companies loved this because I would then cave and make another sacrifice to the Camel gods. With this case, I can change batteries on the fly, and always have a fresh one ready for action. In your face, Big Tobacco!
Tips for newer users:
1. As others have already posted, putting a condom on the end of the battery and carts neatly solves the rattling problem.
2. Recharging the case overnight will supply ample charging power for even the heaviest duty use during the day.
3. Don't carry the case in a front pocket that also has keys, coins or other hard objects in it. And for obvious reasons, don't put it in your back pocket, either.
Suggestions to V2 for improvements:
1. Adding even a few extra mm of length to the XL case would make it long enough to hold a fourth cart in the charging comparment with a standard length battery plugged in.
2. Make a "holster" for the case with a velcro top flap for stable storage + easy sidearm access, and also a belt clip for hands-free carrying. I created one from an old field glasses case (complete with a "bullet compartment" to hold extra carts) but a few modifications to V2's soft carrying case would accomplish the same thing, and have the V2 logo on it to boot. I'm sure this would sell nicely (but feel free to send me a freebie in return for the brilliant idea:)
Bottom line, the XL recharging case is an excellent product, and V2 is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the e-cigs world. Happy vaping!

As someone else may have mentioned the case is not only big enough to hold 2 batteries or a battery and three cartridges, but it's big enough to hold two standard batteries and two cartridges. It seems to charge my batteries quickly as well.
As a new "vaporer" I'm really happy with the products and service. The flavors are good, chocolate, red, and coffee are my favorites. The customer service is great, they forgot one of my batteries that I ordered and shipped it out.
I'm hoping too see more flavors added soon and I'd love to see coffee in the 50ml bottle, it's got just the right amount of bitter to replace the standard tobacco flavor.

I have a huge collection of Batteries from V2 and the original charger would not close when charging a long battery because the case was too short for them. Tough to leave open in your purse and could not put in pocket(s) either. Always afraid of breaking the silver screw in piece when left open and I was on the move.
Big thumbs up for making this new XL Case, no more worries, it goes everywhere with me and now I can take an additional long battery plus carts too with me when I am out and about. Nothing worse than running out of charged batteries away from home! It's funny because it is the same panic as when I was smoking anologs and would run out; quick find a store!LOL
All problems are solved with this new XL case. Thanks V2!
P.S. Like review #2's idea of V2 making a battery pack for our Laptop Cig and Power Cig -that is a great idea! I would purchase that one. What say you V2, will you make one for us?

I think it's great. The only issue is now I have to carry this and my other case. The PCC doesn't hold enough in it. The battery you are charging and 3 cartridges or 2 batteries. But very helpful when the batteries start getting low and you can't charge them elsewhere.

I got the XL PCC (Extra Long Portable Charging Case) with my "Ultimate Kit".
Some have complained that it can be noisy when walking from the contents "rattling" as they bounce about inside of it. Other astute users have realized that if you simply keep the supplied rubber/silicone condoms on the ends of the "Carts/Batteries" this problem never occurs, so this is no longer an issue. They should be on, anyway, to prevent E-Juice evaporation. And, of course, they fit on the batteries, too.
But why should you get the XL size if you don't use XL batteries?
#1, because it can hold 2 "Shorty" or "Regular" size batteries WITH a Cartomizer attached.
#2, because it has almost TWICE the power of the reg. sz. PCC. The PCC has 1200mAh and can charge 4 regular batts, while the PCC XL has 2300mAh and can charge up to 8 regular batteries. And finally,
#3, if you are just a little savvy with a soldering iron you could buy one of V2's "Battery Adapters" (sold to use their carts with batteries made by competitors, ie., GreenSmoke), then visit Radio Shack and purchase some additional adapter paraphernalia, you could rig it up so that you could hook your Power-Cig, or Notebook-Cig, to the XL PCC and use your superior 5 Volt unit to go "mobile" and not be "tied" to a PC or wall socket, yet have the power to last 8 battery lengths!!!
Or.......V2 could manufacture and sell a ready-made adapter.
Or, even better yet, V2 could have the "next generation" of the PCC XL designed with a spot to plug the Power-Cig directly into!
Will it happen? Probably not. But the LiquiMax cartridge shows that V2 is trying to stay on top of the latest Vaper demands. There are cell phone sized portable charging units on Ebay with USB ports that other Vapers are already using in the manner I just described, and they typically only put out around 1200mAh, so we'll see.

This is handy if you arent at home and need to charge your battery. It fits all length batteries. Putting a rubber cap on the end of the battery will keep it quiet if you carry it around with you while charging.

My first experience with e-cigs was with a different brand with poor battery life. I was draining them much faster than I could charge them, so I "solved" the problem by purchasing several additional batteries and (naturally) was forced to buy additional chargers. The constant shuffling of batteries was a pain in the @$#, and if I didn't have a charged battery on hand, I found myself giving in and purchasing the toxic, real cigarettes I had been trying to quit in the first place. I decided that e-cigs wouldn't work for me. A few months later, I decided that it was possible that I had just chosen a poor-quality brand. After some research, I chose another.
Enter V2, an affordable brand that immediately screamed "HIGH QUALITY!!!!" the moment I opened the box. In fact, several friends have decided to switch to V2 after I encouraged them to try mine. I chose XL batteries for obvious reasons, and was blown away when ONE battery lasted through an entire day and well into the next. (I confess that I suck on e-cigs like pacifiers when I'm avoiding tobacco.) I ordered my kit with an XL charging case, which allows me to carry and charge a spare battery and store a few cartridges (or a third battery). Being able to immediately begin charging a dead battery away from home is not just a luxury, it is a necessity when you work 12-16 hour days. I can usually get three or four full charges of an XL battery before I have to recharge the case, which I am able to do overnight alongside my phone and iPad.
The rattling noise is easily quieted, but I have not been troubled by it when I keep the case in my purse. I have been using this kit for nearly six months, and every component still works as well as it did the day I unpacked it. In that time, I have never once been without a useable battery, and I have this fantastic case to thank. It is completely worthwhile if you (like I) have difficulty finding/making time to charge batteries. Great product, V2!
