Loading... Please wait...The V2 Lanyard is new and improved, offering an easy way to keep your V2 Electronic Cigarette safe and handy at all times. The custom molded rubber attachment is designed specifically for use with your V2 e-cig battery and has drilled air-holes which allow the e-cig to function while attached to the lanyard.
This lanyard is also a very handy item to own if you want to transfer e-liquid from one cartridge to another, using the cartridge Taryn Spin trick. Search Youtube for informational videos on how to do the Taryn Spin.
The V2 Lanyard is available in three colors: Red, Blue or Black.

There's nothing particularly unique about this review. This is a nice product. I use manual batteries, so lining up the holes with those on the LED end are not a problem. But the rubber ring that attaches the holder to the lanyard is extremely fine and thin and I have no doubt that it's going to sever when I'm out in the woods or somewhere equally inconvenient and almost impossible to recover the battery.
I like the concept. Because I use manual batteries, as previously noted, putting your v2 e-cig in your jeans pocket is just not a good option.
I think I'm going to "modify" mine with a ponytail holder.
The lanyard is plenty long. I have about 8 inches of mine knotted up to bring it up a little higher on my body.
Good idea with room for improvement.

I would like to see a clip that slides on them to put them in your pocket

I, too, have found this lanyard an indispensable accessory for my V2 batteries. I used to drive a lot for work, and while driving I would just put my V2 in my lap. Not so great when you hop out of the car, forgetting to grab the ecig and watch it fall into a puddle/onto hard concrete/oblivion. Broke 2 and lost 1 battery that way. Since getting my first lanyard those little accidents are a thing of the past. Well, mostly.
I have still dropped a couple batteries that have slipped out of the rubber holder. Got one caught in a car door by accident and dented it pretty good (still works, though!). I have 2 lanyards, I've had to replace both 'little rubber loop' things - one with welding wire and the other with a hair-tie. I also think the holes are a bit too close to the end of the 'cap' and a little too big. I've had both of mine split open between opposing holes so now they're held together by 2 measly strips of whatever this material is.
My suggestions to V2:
- Stronger 'rubber loop' things, or replace them completely with something more durable
- Smaller holes, closer to the top of the holder
- Perhaps slightly thicker to reinforce the holder/improve grip
-Maybe a bit less length on the actual lanyard.
All that being said: I'm still ordering 2 more :D

I got one of these with my first order, and I wish I had waited until improvements had been made. First, if the holes were deeper in the socket the batteries would work great and be very secure. Second, it would be nice if the length was adjustable. I still like to use it when I don't have a pocket to put a battery in and want to bring it with me, I just have to take it out of the lanyard to vape. So, come on V2, just move the holes for us! Thanks, I love knowing you listen and improve your products.

I ordered a lanyard with my first V2 kit last June and ordered a couple of more since then. I always had one (or two) around my neck.It was essential to have my V2 at hand when I first quit smoking. I stopped using them last month since I have now lost 3 batteries out of them. If they would put the air intake holes lower down in the rubber piece or make the rubber piece longer for more of a grip on the battery I think that problem would be solved. In addition, the rubber loops that attatch to the clips are flimsy and kept pulling out during normal activity. If I sat at a desk all day, I wouldn't need a lanyard at all. I fixed this myself by buying a length of cloth covered elastic from the fabric store in roughly the same diameter as the original loops for a few cents. I knotted it around the metal retainer and pushed it back through the hole and haven't had that problem since. It is great to have my V2 hanging handily around my neck, so lanyards are almost a must have accessory, I just can't afford to keep replacing batteries.

I have gone from four cartons a month to one carton a month on V2 cigs so a terrific product. The Lanyard is something you must have because the batteries do fall and roll and are difficult to find even if you are around the house a lot. However the Lanyards are not very sturdy. I have super glued mine once and it held quite nicely then the small elastic band snapped and I had to knot and electric tape it. I guess I will have to order a second. With the 20 percent Valentines day sale coming on accessories that is the time to do it and have an extra. I order lots from this company and actually think it should be guaranteed or I should be given a free one. They should revamp the construction so it is more sturdy. But you can't do without it...or V2 cigs. I am disabled and have COPD so this is saving my life :) A great company. That is why I say five stars...buy one cheaper then losing the batteries.

I love my lanyard...but...like several have mentioned. The "Molded Rubber Attachment" and will no longer hold my ecig. The rubber attachment is held on by a metal clip, which opens, so why don't you just sell the rubber attachment, by itself? Just because this one little piece has stretched, I now have to buy a whole new lanyard, while there is nothing wrong with the lanyard itself...just the attachment. Why have a clip on it, if we can't buy the rubber attachment separately? Please consider offering the rubber attachment as a replacement option.

I love the idea of this lanyard! I bought two of these and they are very handy. The only complaint is that I wish the rubber holder was more sturdy. But a little super glue on it to fix it when the battery fell off and no more problems! I would suggest super glue before the rubber holder falls off...other than that it is great! A side note: My cardiologist gave my e-cigarette two thumbs up when I quit smoking!
